Dealing with the Social Isolation of the Covid-19 Pandemic

Research recently done at Northwestern University, Chicago suggests that having low level of vitamin D can also increase the odds of dying from COVID-19. This is an early report that needs to be confirmed. The researchers came to this conclusion after studying persons with COVID in 10 countries, none of which is in Africa.
While it is too early to say whether vitamin D supplementation will help COVID-19 patients, we should all strive to maintain healthy levels of vitamin D for healthy bones.
