How your diet could hurt your liver

Do you know that your diet can hurt your liver? 

The Liver is a very important organ in the body which helps the production of bile needed for digestion and absorption of fats, removal of toxic chemicals and breakdown of drugs, production of certain proteins needed for proper body function and storage of excess carbohydrates as glycogen. 

Unfortunately, certain foods can hurt the liver and prevent it from functioning properly. These foods include alcohol, red meat, fried foods, soda and foods seasoned with excess salt. 

If these foods are consumed in excess, it might cause damage to the liver.
