What to know about monkeypox


Monkeypox is a rare and highly contagious infection commonly seen in   
West and Central Africa.  

How does this infection spread?  
- Through direct skin contact with monkey rash or body fluids of   
an infected infected person.  
- Contact with respiratory droplets of an infected person.  
- Touching surfaces and objects contaminated with the virus.  
- Skin to skin contact during sexual intercourse.
