"The overactive thyroid:  Hyperthyroidism"


The thyroid gland is an organ located below the Adam's apple in the  
neck. 

When this organ makes too much thyroid hormones, it leads to a condition 
called Hyperthyroidism. 

It's symptoms include: 
• Losing weight without trying 
• Increased hunger 
• Fast and irregular heartbeat 
• Changes to menstrual cycle
