SOME FOOD COMBINATIONS MAY INCREASE RISK OF DEMENTIA

The study involved 209 people who had dementia and 418 people who did not have dementia, and a questionnaire was used to collect the type of food, the quantity, and frequency of the food the participants consumed. After the study, the conclusion was that more of those who took an unhealthy diet had developed dementia compared to those who took a healthy diet.

It is not easy to combine foods to get a healthy diet; therefore, it is important to understand various foods that could affect the brain and predispose to dementia. Dementia is a group of conditions characterized by impairment of at least two brain functions.
