Selfcare after a Caesarean section

Just like every other surgery, a caesarean section is a major surgery, and extra care must be taken for quick recovery.  

Here are a few tips to help recovery  
- Get adequate rest for 6 -8 weeks so your body can heal.  
- Eat more fruits and vegetables, and increase your fluid intake to help prevent constipation.  
- Go easy on your body. Do not lift anything that's heavier than your baby's weight.  
- Speak to someone if you feel sad, anxious or depressed.
