Menorrhagia

Have you ever heard of Menorrhagia? Do you know anyone who might be dealing with this? This one is for you.

Menorrhagia is the medical term for heavy periods. It comes with excessive flow of menses and disrupts your normal daily activities as you have to change your pads frequently and have to deal with lots of cramps.

How do I know I have Menorrhagia?
Normal menstrual flow lasts between 2 to 7 days. If it lasts longer than this and flows more than 80mL per cycle, you are said to have menorrhagia.

Common causes of Menorrhagia include hormone imbalance, ovarian problems, fibroids, cancer and certain medications.
