
Women who have had a successful birth through in-vitro fertilization (IVF) have over 50% chance of success having a second baby. This new information came out of research conducted in Australia and New Zealand. It should help lower the anxiety women feel about the likelihood of having a large family through IVF. Because the chances of having a second IVF baby decreased with maternal age in the study, the researchers urged women not to wait too long if planning to try for a second IVF baby.
