
While e-cigarettes may deliver lower exposure to some carcinogens than traditional cigarettes, the flavorings used in e-cigarettes have now been shown to damage human blood vessel cells in laboratory experiments. The greatest damage occurred with cinnamon and menthol flavorings. Another incorrect perception of vaping is that the amount of nicotine exposure that it produces is lower than that of traditional cigarettes. These researchers found this is not the case. It's better to stay from both smoking and vaping.
