How well are middle-aged persons in Africa coping with stress? Is their stress level on the rise? Answers to these questions are needed.

In America, middle-aged persons ( age 45-64) reported experiencing more stress in the 2010s than they did in the 1990s. The possible reasons for this include being economically responsible for unemployed children and inability to disconnect and relax due to technological advances like the smartphone.

Middle-aged persons in Africa need similar research check-up to see how they are doing and what can be done to make this period of life better.
