What is clear is that if any form of alcohol is consumed, this should be done in moderation since too much alcohol can certainly harm many organs. Some experts recommend that men should consume no more than 4-8 ounces of wine (which is about 12-24 ounces of beer) per day, while women should consume no more than 4 ounces of wine (or about 12 ounces of beer) per day.
