Start early, start strong: The WHO recommends more physical activity for children under 5 years

The guidelines list specific recommendations based on three age categories: under 1 year, 1-2 years, and 3-4 years. The principles reflected in the recommendations are replacing prolonged restrained or sedentary time with active play, and ensuring sufficient good-quality sleep.
