Small changes can go far in preventing childhood obesity

Childhood obesity is growing problem that can adversely affect the health of the child. In addition to being more likely to be bullied and to suffer from low self-esteem, social isolation and depression, obese children have a higher risk of chronic health problems. Steps to prevent obesity do not have to be complex. In fact, making one change at a time is more sustainable than a complete lifestyle overhaul.
