COVID-19 is Not Transmitted By Mosquito Bites

The first study has emerged that confirms that SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19, cannot be transmitted via mosquito bites.

This comes amid several conspiracies that have swept through the media as the coronavirus pandemic spreads from country to country. The study, which was conducted at the Biosecurity Research Institute (BRI), a biosafety level-3 facility. The World Health Organization (WHO) had earlier reported that mosquitoes cannot spread the virus.
